I currently serve as Cabinet Minister for Basic and Senior Secondary Education, Chief Innovation Officer and Adviser to the President (H.E Julius Maada Bio) of the Republic of Sierra Leone. Globally, I am Chair, UNESCO Global Education Monitoring Report Advisory Board; and Board Member, Global Partnership for Education. I believe that we can only truly connect with our humanity through service to others.

I hold a couple patents and have started several enterprises and initiatives including Global Minimum; Lebone Solutions (10 Most Brilliant Innovations of 2009, Popular Mechanics); and OLPCorps Africa. I’ve also won an award/recognition or two including the Lemelson-MIT Student Prize; TED Fellow/Senior; National Geographic Emerging Explorer; World Economic Forum Young Global Leader; Forbes 30 Under 30 Technology, Wired UK Smart List; Global Innovation Fellow at the Harvard School of Engineering; Perry World House Visiting Fellow at University of Pennsylvania, etc.
